How to use the Loopshore air quality sensor
Getting started with the device is easy.
The Loopshore device works on its own, without connecting it to a system or any other setup or installation.
• Turn the device on with the switch on its back. You will hear a beep.
• The device starts measuring right away. You will see the data in the air quality service within a few hours.
Things to consider when placing the device.
Place the device in a central spot in the room at a height of about 1.5 m. Make sure there are no windows, doors, ventilation vents or heat sources close by.
You can mount the device on a wall or place it on a surface, such as on top of a shelf.
The devices are intended for indoor use. The recommended operating range is 0°C – +40°C for Loop One and -20°C – +40°C for the other devices. You can install a device outdoors when it is protected from rain and snow in a way that still lets air flow freely. Outdoor installation and protecting the device are the user's responsibility.
The device calibrates itself automatically where possible, and otherwise its drift is statistically small. Measurement accuracy can be verified with a manual calibration if needed. About every five years, the sensor can be sent to us for a general service.
